The Government's decarbonising plan (Decarbonising Transport, A Better Greener Britain) sets out the government's commitments and the actions needed to decarbonise the entire transport system in the UK.
The government decarbonisation plan includes the phasing out of all new non-zero emission HGVs by 2040 (or earlier where possible), ongoing consultations on the phasing out of all new non-zero emission buses and coaches and a commitment to financial incentives for zero emission vehicles.
